We just wanted to share some of the lovely images from our wonderful Hug over Christmas 2018.
We had to put up our tree and decorations a couple of weeks before the big day...
Its quite hard work and we do occasionally need the help of Jane and Steve for the high bits of decoration. The larger bears like Sidney here in the Santa Hat have to give us a hand up to put the decorations on the tree. Although Jimmy (the Charlie Bear) likes to climb to put on baubles and trinkets.
Crackers are a real favourite with lots of the bears here at Bassett Bears. We get lots of little toys to play with and the jokes are so dreadful that they are funny.
Dexter (second from left) is a great fan of Christmas. This year he is particularly happy after his visit to the hospital earlier in the year.
Woody, Ross and Charlie Chiltern are all resting after playing with Ross's toy soldiers.
Charlie always manages to get to the Rocking Chair before anyone else. I am sure everyone will miss him when he gets adopted, but they are looking forward to sitting in the Rocker!
Here are some of the Bears toys, mainly clockwork or pull-a-long toys which they love.
The smaller bears are taking a siesta after a long Christmas day. Little Valentino is keeping an eye on everyone particularly little Stieff dog who likes to get into mischief.
Here is Dagwood in his Savill Row tailored suit, who with Percy Prestige, Otto and the guys are all trying to work out how to save up for next Christmas.
Francoise (right back) is finding his English is coming on very well, He can practice with his new family when the time comes.
Oh look the new bears gang! They are mainly from Vanda Bears. They are a group of real characters who had a wonderful Christmas and are hoping that the New Year will being new homes for all of them.
