Dylan goes to Hospital

When we first saw Dylan in South Wales he was in a very neglected state, but there was just something about him. If you are squeamish then please skip the rest of this paragraph! Poor Dylan's head and body were separate, his right ear was attached to his body, and he had no eyes. However we couldn't leave him, he still made an impact on us and we knew he was someone special.

The day he went to hospital the other bears all waved him goodbye and good luck. He was delivered in style, given a thorough check-up and then put straight to bed to wait for major trauma surgery.

We all waited nervously for two weeks, some of the bears were nervous wrecks, Steve was like a cat on a hot-tin-roof. Then came the day that we could bring Dylan home.

We hardly recognised him, Dylan was a golden mohair beauty! We were all astounded and sharing pics and details of him with colleagues we soon agreed that Dylan is an early 20th century Bing bear. We will discuss his antique pedigree in another blog.

Now whole, clean and puffed back up to his original shape, Dylan is a very handsome chap.

The other bears who need some tender loving care are no longer frightened of going to hospital. Unfortunately his growler could not be repaired, but he still has it in his tummy.

We will bring you more about Dylan and his friends soon.

We welcome your bear's stories, send them to us and we may publish your little friends adventures. Bye for now.
