Our american friend Joe has been trying to get fit. He tried running, but it rained (not good for bears); then a Pump class, but those weights are just too darned heavy and then a dancercise DVD. Unfortunately he found the leotard chaffed and he really felt that he was not a dancing queen.
So eventually he decided to try Steve and Jane's rowing machine. Joe has a long american football shaped body with legs and arms to go with it but things really did not work out as he hoped...

Joe says "I did have a few problems with the rowing machine. I read on the internet that rowing machines are the best all round exercise, so I wanted to try it.
I read how to indoor row safely and I was ready to tackle this great new exercise regime.
But no mater how long my legs and arms I really just couldn't work the rower.
I tried it every way that I could think of and eventually exhausted myself trying to get some exercise.
That seat is really comfortable for a lie down"
