A very good day to you, I am Horace a very English Bear.  I am possibly an early 'Hug Me' but you can hug me anytime.
 
I was born c 1950's and I have a wonderful golden mohair coat (a little worn in places; it is an issue arising from age and having a real coat, not synthetic like these modern chaps!) and wonderful orange and black eyes.
 
I can, when I feel like it, talk to you - yes I have an itermittent growler.
 
When I first came to the Bassett Bear Hug I needed some tender loving care, and I have to say that I really am a little scared of Dogs!  Now I look great and feel wonderful again, but would prefer not to live with doggies please.

I would love to be adopted by a family that loves bears and can give me all the love and care that I need at my age.  I am used to other bears being around and I make friends easily.
